My $300 318 with all the accessories ....Supposed to run good and strong, 727 shifts nice...found out it has 340 heads! I sold the exhaust manifolds, Eddy intake, and Eddy 650 carb....so after all that the engine ended up being free :D

The plan is to drop this in my wife’s 66 with a 4-speed behind it

My friend’s newly acquired 390 inch 318 stroker. Eagle rotating assembly, icon pistons, comp 274XL, eddy heads, PRW rockers.

I’ll let you know when we find out. We’re upgrading everything into an earlier model block due to cracked head bolt holes. The evidence points to ignorance combined with copious amounts of spray on top of the 11.5:1 compression transpired into a nearly catastrophic valve float event. Thankfully, no other parts except the lifter cup retainers were hurt. It’s getting a 750 mighty demon along with an MSD 6AL2 ignition, along with a drop in compression to around 10.7:1. Expectations are for it to be plenty stout, though.

Friend of mine built one with a TRW 340 cam way back in the day. Ran like a scalded dog, fun with a 4 speed and 3.91's
