Thermo-Shield

Thermo-Shield protects hoses and wires from radiant heat. Thermo-Shield is used in applications where it is difficult or not practical to disconnect one end of the hose or wire. NOT FOR USE ON EXHAUST.

The adhesive-backed composite construction tape can easily be wrapped around the hose or wire to make a clean, professional appearance and protect parts from over 90% of radiant heat up to 2000 degrees farenheight.

Yes. Have not used the adhesive backed stuff but the sleeves and blankets. I have a sleeve on my shifter cable.

I'm looking to see how people like it and how it performs. I installed some tonight and will do a follow up on how well and/or if it works.:read2:

It won't handle direct contact with exhaust components (hence their disclaimer) but has worked well for me so far.

Have the thermo-shield tape on brake lines that could get some heat from fenderwell's in my cuda. Also use there sleeve on my shifter & speedo cables. Been on for 5 yr's with no problem. They have good products IMO.
