Sorry I got to say it man. Blow moulded plastic cheap assed shit. That stuff is fine for kick panels with moulded in speaker enclosures, but not for a gage panel. Get an original bezel that's a little beat, bond on some aluminum sheetmetal using JB weld, and cut your own holes where you want them. Prob less than $25 in materials and time. Waaay cheaper, and ya did it yourself.

Heres one a fabo member did n posted just recently. Used an original gage housing, made an insert, dolled it up w stick on wood trim and a pebble grain vinyl along w chrome trim. A little bit of creativity goes a long way.

Do you have the link to the thread? I’ve been thinking of something similar since I don’t like the way my digital gauges fill my bezel from classic dash

May be in mopar general forum. Or in interiors. Not sure. Found it about 2 weeks ago. My buddy is doing a 74 duster, I sent it to him.

Hey Chris, that’s what I did with mine. Aluminum plate cut to fit the old housing $20. Cut the holes for the gauges, media blasted the face for texture and rattle can satin black.

Chris, You can get all kinds of stick on material Including a realistic carbon fiber if you are not into black. I was gonna go custom on my 67 cuda. But got a good deal on repop rallye dash bezels. Was gonna go aluminum sheet, painted black wrinkle finish, and use countersink Allen screws to hold it into the dash.

Well I bought one and used it. And I'm not gonna disagree. Was a fast easy alternative for my impatient self. I will say it's not flimsy and works okay. And actually comes with a nice matching lower trim. Would probably do something different next time. Live and learn.

I put one in a few years ago,
I cut the factory wiring harness plug off, and used aftermarket connecters to make it removable.
If I look around, I wrote the wiring colors down, and added led's for the high beams, turn signals and parking brake lights.
Everything worked fine upon start up.
I hate aftermarket gauges hanging off everything.

                          Also tip
If using an autometer mechanical speedometer, just go to napa and buy a cable for a 65 barracuda, it screws right on to the back of the autometer gauge, and the trans.
Its like 30 bucks vs 100 bucks for the autometer cable.

I just put the Classic Dash panel in my 73 with Speedhut gauges. Completely happy with the quality and fit.

I'm not a fan of the aftermarket gauge look but this is by far the best one I've seen so far. Great job.

will that dash fit in my 1970 Duster and what other items did you have to buy with it? like wire harness or speedometer sending unit etc.?

This was my effort in my RHD dash, drew up a design, had it laser cut in steel, vinyl wrapped it and added a set of custom made Speedhut gauges

Not sure if that panel fits a 70 - best to check for fitment with Classic Dash. I bought the gauges separately from Speedhut. Each gauge came with everything it needs - the Speedo is GPS, so the GPS antenna sits on the dash (and works perfectly). As far as wiring, I just bundled up all of the gauge panel wiring and used a couple of 6 pin Molex connectors for easy connection of the gauge panel to the dash/car wiring. Tedious, but straightforward.

3 3/8 for the speedo and tach, 2 1/16” for the rest.
                                    Here’s some dimensions from Speedhut
