I was between the AHP and PrimeWeld 225. I went with PrimeWeld since it had a nice foot peddle and a real name brand torch.
I "think" they've changed both, I could be wrong tho.

I hear you on the China thing.
But unless I am wrong, they are all using some "off shore" parts.
Some are assembled in the US yes.
I had a Lincoln MIG machine.
Obsolete parts made fixing it more than buying a new one, by a LOT.
I really don't want to buy an old machine and those headaches.
I was looking at the Eastwood machine, TIG 200.
That Primeweld looks busy to me, what makes it so much better?
Sounds like you have one you use?
