Yeah that mod top was a real treat.
The interior was really cool.
If I was ever in a bad mood, I think just sitting in that for for five minutes would calm me down.
I felt high just looking inside.

Any more picture of this Duster. I'm pretty sure an old friend of mine from Los Angeles that moved to Georgia built this car. He's in Florida now.

It's got painted modern door handles (late model Daytona?).

There used to be a mod-top Cuda exactly like that one that sat in someone's backyard for years when i was a kid,one day it disappeared and haven't seen or of anything of since.

I neeeed that 440 barracuda.

Nice pics!!

Yeah, that 69 440 'cuda had the straightest body I've ever laid eyes on.

Not one bit of orange peel or one ripple down the sides, just pure laser straight so whomever did the work did a fantastic job!

The bright red notchback above was owned by a guy I'd say pushing 80 Y/O.

He had a 360 crate motor in it and he and his wife take it to as many shows as they can.
It's trouble free and runs like a champ so they take it all over the place from state to state and he says they have fun toying with the tuner guys with his electric exhaust cut outs at red lights.
He fired it up and it had a pretty high lift cam with a seriously sweet idle, then he flipped the switch to open the cut outs and he said "This is what I do at red lights to mess with those young kids!" and revved the open headers a few times, and it drew a nice little crowd.

That guy was pretty cool.

Thanks for posting these great pictures.
You did a great job with your camera.

Mop top brings me back to the flower power era.

I wish I would have taken more pics, but next time I'm gonna hit the pitts and take tons of pics.

I missed a really good opportunity to get a shot of all the cars lined up ready to drag, but as soon as I got the camera out , they all started moving around the bend and I could not get the camera on fast enough.

LOL thats me and my wife standing between the yellow and red notchbacks.
Owner of the 69 flower power said he paid like 3200.00 for it. Half the lookers laughed at it and half the lookers loved it. Same with the yellow next door to me. My car didn't win any awards but no one laughed at it either. I can live with that. :)

Hey, I have a couple of pics of a Mod top from Carlisle a couple years ago that look almost like that one, both are gorgeous cars!
