Making a bar for entertaining. With help from here will be epoxying the top with signs and gears. Next issue is what type of bulbs to use to put in the 56 ford grill I am using for the face of the Bar. Would like to find something low voltage, maybe LED. Thinking cutting/grinding the back of stock headlight and inserting a couple of LED's? Thanks in advance.

i dont have a bar, what are you talking about willis?

i would get a dimalbe 12 volt output, and then just hook up actual car bulbs

How about using LED tape and wrapping it around the inside of the headlight housing. It would look like a halo, and the light wouldn’t be direct like a regular bulb.

I think I will end up using stock headlights in series, should cut the intensity in half, with an outdoor low voltage transformer. Bar not finished yet, work in progress. I did sand and repaint the 56 Ford F100 grill, then sanded where I wanted it to rust and used Hydrogen peroxide and vinegar to rust it. Matte clear to preserve it. Will have to wait till spring to put misc. car parts, signs, etc on bar top then epoxy over it to finish it.
