Anyone replace the headliner in your Dart ? Did you use something as a backer to reduce heat ? Where did you purchase the headliner ?
Thanks !

I haven't installed it yet, so I may be talking out of school, but I bought a headliner, carpeting, and visors for my '65 Barracuda from StockInteriors.com. I bought Jute padding from them at the same time, reduce heat and maybe noise. The carpet went in relatively well. I've never installed a headliner, but have watched several U-tube videos and think I can handle it. I'm waiting until I can take the car apart for a week or two, these things always snowball! I also have a few other reasons to crawl under the dash, so I'll do that while I have the front seats out to do the headliner. At least one of the projects will go sour. I'm thinking I'll just lay the padding over the bows, I've seen mixed reviews of whether or not to use adhesive on it, I'm leaning toward not.

Note their projected ship times, a lot of the product is made to order. The carpet came very quickly, the headliner and visors were a month or so. All within the time frames they'd advertised.

Let me know how it rolls out ! I recently put new floors in the front driver and passenger side of a 4dr '65 Dart and got it sanded, metal prepped and coated with epoxy, then sealed the seams. I figured while I was at it, I would do both top and bottom of the interior, that said I'm looking for input on carpeting companies as well, I've found only about 3!?! So, I'm here to pick some brains. I will say, if you're in the market for floor replacement steel, don't spend the couple hundred bucks on the stuff offered online for individual front pans! Go to a sheet metal supplier and get yourself a couple of 3' x 3' sheets and cut, bend and make them yourself, the crap I bought online were WORTHLESS!!! Maybe if I were replacing the entire floor, it may be a different story, that said, a wire feed welder was the best choice for install, anything else seemed to melt the old steel to fast. ANYWAY... Rock on MOPAR Brothers.
