You can see the hole for the strap, my 67 doesn't have that hole as they ran the hoses over the valve cover.

Yes, mine has that hole too and I'll be using it.

Not a 71 or a Demon but this is the clamp that was on my 70 Duster when I got it. I think it's pretty clean. The engine bay is
obviously far from stock looking, but it cleaned up pretty well after a few days/weeks of tweaking last winter. The bottom picture is what it looked like when I got it.

No I have not owned since day one. Purchased car 11 years ago.

I've owned my 71 Demon since 1984. It also has the punched hole as shown (while it was in the paint process). Hole was blocked by tape on the back side during paint.

....or the slant sixes with the hose all over the valve cover. Nasty! That's the slant six's claim to fame is that beautiful valve cover!
