Hello, I need a few opinions on this car

Just my Opinion..$10,000 would be tops,if it's really clean(everywhere)I like the color. I'm sure you can get something nice for your $10,000
 
Doesn't sound bad for the $14900. they are asking..of course you would have to look at it to confirm their story of restoration and check the VIN to see if it was a 340 car to begin with and if so is it numbers matching.
 
kinda hard to do frame off resto on a unibody. I gotta agree with Craig for a '73 I wouldn't pay more then 10k. Check for hidden rust thoroughly before you buy.
 
Thank you for your input. My husband and I like the six pack style hood. I think it would add to the look of this car. This will be my first muscle car.

x3. It's a 340 car, so worth more than most, but really look it over closely. Check to see if the engine and transmission numbers match.

X2 Looks like a really nice car the only thing I don't like is the year and the price. The 1971 and earlier cars will have better resale and bring more money in my opinion. Its a great time to be a buyer just take your time.
 
Doesn't look all together bad ; but , I did recognise the following :

- 1975 grille ( not that that's bad in and of itself ; just makes me wonder how it got there )

- Full repaint in a non-original-to-1973 colour

- Motor *may be* a later 360 ( common swap ) crate motor

The provided v.i.n. ( in the ad ) jibes with a 340 Duster ( VS29H3B ) v.i.n.

I agree with everyone else here : check it for rust , especially if it's an original Florida car that's lived ocean-side its entire life .

What every one said, look it over and over and over, I would guess you have been looking around so you know what you can get for the money, I like the 6/pack hood also, the two scoops look kinda funny that close together. But bottom line on the price is... if YOU want it .... to keep .....then its worth what ever you decide you want to spend, if its at top of the "good deal price" then you would be lucky to get your money back if you try to sell it. I have paid to much for something ...but I wanted it so it didn't bother me. Nice looking car....

My thoughts exactly. My wife likes the color/car and she's been pretty picky. I told her that the hood would be the first thing we change. I told her a 6 pack style hood would look so much better. Love your new avatar brother 340plot. MMG
 
It aint a 73, From what I can see the rear bumper from the side view is a 74 or newer.
 
Not to hijack your thread, but I'd like more info on that serpentine drive belt setup for my own use. Anyone know who makes it?
 
March makes the pulleys. Nice looking car if it is what they say it is. Good choice going with the 6pak hood. I think it looks good on just about anything.
