Need help identifying the manufacturer of this block. Also, a fair price for it. Never used. 30 years old. Has main caps and oil pan. This is only identifying pic he sent me

What is it supposed to be? I remember some time in the past, I heard that International cast some 318's I believe. That MC used to stand for McCormick Deering, early International. I might be full of ****, but curious to find out. I'll be watching this post!

426 hemi

Before I bought a 426 hemi I’d want about 200 times more information than what that one picture tells you.

The only thing I can identify with out a full picture is that its Cast iron . Could be an old flat head. First question, Is it a V-8?

Wish I could but he deleted it off Facebook marketplace. It was a legit seller. He had it listed for 5 grand. Must've got a buyer quick
do you have any of the original photos of it? We are all just curious

Try the Wayback Machine its an internet archive and may have made a snapshot of the site around when you looked at it.
Tried with no luck, unfortunately. There's another for sale near me. 426 hemi, 1966 block, comes with crank. Has been bored .60 over. That one makes me nervous because I'm afraid it's a little far bored for it to be a reliable block at this point. Guy wants $6500 for it
