Bit confused to what pump i should run, i am doing the 6.4 conversion and i know Holley make a plug and play pump that fits in the tank Holley Sniper EFI 12-319, however i think they struggle after 550hp?
I am shooting for around 600hp any thoughts on what pump i should use and best set up etc i want to keep it simple not too worried about the budget.
Obviously all new fuel lines as well etc

I’ve read good things about the

Deatschwerks DW200 in-tank fuel pump

Good for 600HP

Trying to find one thats set up to be retro fitted as a top mount in tank pump to simplify the process hopefully

I have posted my top mount setup before. Pretty sure a ZL1 or CTSV(?) would work out for you.

Considering Holley sniper EFI for my 1969 340. Thoughts from people who have that set up?

Other options:

A lot of in tank pumps, including the 340 lph ones, can be stuck on the end of a stock sending unit.

Or weld a sump to your tank and use an external pump; that's what I did. A bread pan is a lot cheaper than most of the kits out there and not significantly more work.

Any idea what unit as had a google and couldnt find anything

I have a '66 so no vapor return, but depending on how your tank is set up this may be used for venting or blocked. I fed the return from my fuel pressure regulator into the sender. A true return less system could have the sender line capped.

What did you do for the fuel sender, did you just block the fuel line? Or can you get senders with no line etc?
Also the nipple on the top of the tank near you fuel pump what connects to that? Been a while sinse pulled it all apart

We just cut a flat plate and used the pick up gasket and ring to seal that hole for testing for leaks. I assume that is what you are asking about.

I would consider using a stock pickup and just capping the line so I can use the stock fuel level sensor, but those have been junk so far so I will probably use the Camaro sensor and leave the stock pickup hole plugged like it is.

The nipple at the top middle is the vent for the stock system. Supposed to run up to the charcoal canister in the engine bay. It has a restriction built in so I wouldn't use it as a fuel return port.

The Camaro pump is a dead head system, pressure is regulated in the basket, so I don't need a return line or any place to plumb one in.

Nice that all makes sense, i think ill do similar to you however most likely use the holley sniper in tank with the apropiate flow rate etc. I still have my stock sender which worked before i stripped the car down so ill utilise that
