yup, already looked into it. it used to be called 'Arduino go kart EMS' here is the thread from a proponent and an opponent. sure..why not. Just not alot of protection on the board itself and random reboots from the early models

For $100-110 in a kit form, there is little capital risk and would be a fun weekend project. The x.3 kit has the screw terminals, the x.4 does not. It looks alot more refined than the primative kart ems that I was familiar with. Still just 4 injector drivers but that would work fine on a V8

First of all, that's just a cool bmw build that guy is doing.
I wonder how hard it would be to do this with a raspberry pi instead, since I have like 6 of them.
