found this on CL. hit in the front somehow, minor damage to bumper but REALLY hammered the rad support, and condenser/ radiator. Suffered damage to left door, right side of bed is extensive, and part of the rear window broken

'The good' Has 4 brand new tires, and a brand new 42RE (it's a V6) 4x4 The old transmission is in the back!!!

High typical miles 200K + no idea the condition of the engine "yet." AC and electric windows. Did not notice if it has cruise

Talked the guy down to 300, he lost the title. So I gave him 150 and a receipt and brought it home. "When" he gets a new title, I'll give him the other 150. Seemed like a nice kid

You're a sucked for those things! That looks like it has potential.

Probably parts. The cab is straight, someone who was "really into" bodywork could fix the bed. The problem now is where to put it. I will take what's left to the family estate, but if that damn thing DOES sell, there will be THREE Dakotas and the 67 "parts Dart" to move out of there, plus the junker hulk of the white whale II (The 95? Dodge 1500 junker)

So what's the latest on the "family estate"? Do I dare even ask?

It is up for sale

I have paid down most of my personal debt which was a few grand in credit cards, not bad, not something out of control, just wanted to get rid of. I wanted to do that before hiring a lawyer I contacted the folks that "did" Mom and Dad's estate planning and financial investments for DECADES. They were very much trusted, and what little (just a few grand) in bonds I have with them

I was set to hire a lawyer he said he will have their in house lawyer write some letters. Have not heard yet. Don't remember if I told you, it's for sale, here is the listing: They removed many photos, the only shot of the interior is the dining / living room which the sister/ husband redid on their own after the break in damage. I have no real problem with that, except that I'm sure IT WAS NOT INSURED and THAT is a problem

Listing:

10404 W Pine Street Sandpoint ID 83864 | MLS# 18-1285 | Windermere

If some photos won't load, they are no longer there, just hit the next one

They have "updated" with "spring" photos, the west field

Front porch/ railing is broke, you cannot see the fire damage to the porch deck

Looks way better here than it really is. The green spring grass helps. LOTS of under "stuff" in the grass

Dining/ living room after repairs. The west view at the end is the "gold" which is why the Gramps property to the W should be sold with the house The white painted trim WAS nice stained wood built by my Dad. It's a real shame. In fact "it's a crime." No, REALLY!!

The lane to the barn. Last year I took the little farmall and snow blade up there and spent the better part of two days "plowing" out underbrush and cutting back tree limbs. That's the old mechanical monster loose hay loader way in the back

Like one of these damn things

Wow. Well, I certainly hope you get whatever your share is. Seems like she's dragged her feet far too long. You are in our prayers. Will try and call soon. Have not spoken to you in a while. Need to sit down and catch up a little. Won't be next week. Manager is on vacation and guess who has the store? lol Could be worse, I guess. I could be in the soup line.

If you deem it a parts truck, and want to get rid of a passenger side seat recliner adjuster part, let me know. I have an 04 Dakota that has a busted piece on it. Ain't had any luck finding one in my neck of the woods, and it's no longer available from Chrysler. None on the Help rack either. It's strange that the radiator support is killed on that thing, and the grill looks fine!? Good score though.

I'll try and keep this in mind. Send me a PM about once a month LOL. I have another seat that is not in such good shape I'll take a look. Do you know that the 04 is same as older ones? Lots changed in that newer body

I'm not sure if they're all the same from 97 - 04 or not....just figured they would be. If you get a chance to look at the other seat, that will be fine. I'm not in a big rush. The part that I need is the plastic piece that the release handle screws to. It mounts into the seat track and the cables for the recliner hook around it. I'll try to get a pic in a bit....when a few more cups of coffee get me moving a little faster...lol.

Just add a photo to this thread

Got some pics, and honestly....if the passenger seat you already have out doesn't have it, I'd be ashamed to ask you to get it out of one you have to remove! I think you're about like me, and the arthritis ain't helping you any. Here's a few pics.
