would love to have a cowl hood scoop hood but the money aint there so...

I'm just wondering why you are so set on this particular intake? It seems to me like you could just sell it and get one that fits and performs equally as well.

Thats the scoop that was on my 73 340 Dart Sport. I ran a W2 M1 and cut the triangle out in the hood bracing then made a plate to seal to hood. Plenty of clearance and looked great!

Tha may be possible in many cases but the fact is, that’s the best single 4bbl. extreme performance small block intake.
If he is trying to extract every last tenth of a HP out of his engine, that’s the intake to use.

Then there shouldn't be any thinking about modifying it...but there is. So it makes me wonder what he's really after.

Hood clearance, that’s all.

It was done n another thread.

OK, I'll bite. What Makes the Indy 360-3 so good. Not sure I'm familiar with them. Are they mainly street or race?

I know its more a on race than street
but the sickness of speed make me do weird thing

I did not realize how much taller it is.
Big Scoop....

Wont cutting it down a bunch defeat the point of running it? Or is just that good ?

I cut mine down to get some throttle response for street driving. I keep wondering why I sold my old w2 dual plane intake.
If I dont feel the gain down low I am going to find another dual plane w2 and port to match the indy 360-1s I have
