    I got this carb of a 360 that sat in a 70 Duster for like 18 years in a barn. It's old but for the price I paid for it (Free) I can't complain. I want to buy a rebuild kit for it but don't know which model it is. Maybe somebody can help while I wait for the Holley site to approve my forum membership.
    The numbers on it ar

    You have a valuable carb there (but how much it's worth, i don't know).

    That is the number for a a high performance, chevy, big block including an LS6 454.

    Restored they bring about $700.

    Yea, it ran on the motor we took it off. But it just needs to be rebuilt. Didn't run very well. It's been sitting for 20 years lol. The car it came off is pretty cool. A buddy of mine got it. It's a numbers matching 70 340, 4 SPD duster. The original 340 is gone and it's got a 360 in it but the 4 SPD is still there. Needs some work from sitting but in pretty decent shape. Thanks for all the help. I hope this isn't too much carb for my 318 LOL.

    Sell the carb on ebay and it will pay for any any carb you want.

    You have a hunk of cash there, I would make better use of it.

    What you do with it is up to you.

    Yea, I got on Ebay and looked at these carbs. Thanks for the help guys I would have never known lol. This helps me out big time becuase my budget for this rebuild wasn't very big and this will expand it enough for a cam LOL.

    The only thing I am having trouble with is what I presume is the build date 993. I can't figure out exactly what that means, all the other build dates seem to be letters and numbers.

    One more question for anybody still reading this lol. The base plate reads 12R 4506 any idea what that means?

    Ok, got more info. 993 =

    9 = 1969
    9 = September
    3 = Third Week

    I believe the 12R 4506 is just the base plate part number.

    It's an early 1970 carb which makes it even more desirable because it will be before the build date of most people's car and that's what the numbers guys need.
