Holley sniper and hyper spark distributor

Just installed the sniper efi and hyper spark distributor. What should my timing be set at? I’ve researched a few sites and videos they all say it should be set at 15* I’ve set mine to that and it pings and back fires WOT timing is set to 36* any one install this set up. What should I be using for timing settings

I did a MSD Atomic 1 series similar to the Sniper. Is the system controlling timing like using a MSD 6AL box?

Whats you engine build? 15 Deg might be too much for it. Fuel used?

Did you follow the instructions to the t to install the distributor? If you have it clocked wrong, the computer cannot tell where you start from.
