Hello, i have a Holley 4160 4 bbl carb. Its missing a throttle plate. I called Holley and they told me its an obsolete part. So i was wondering if anyone had a throttle plate? the list on it is 6231. It came off of a 440 Motor home. the part number they gave me was 9R213. And the other plate say 213 on it...THANKS!

Check out Bigs Performance. There phone number is 715-835-3726. Ask for Jesse, he really knows his Holley carbs and has a lot of the old parts. Check out there web site also. Bigs Performance.com

no, i believe its a squarebore. i think they are both 1 9/16".

6231 is supposed to be off a 72 413 from a motorhome. Should be a 4160 model carb.

A baseplate from an 1850 holley should work on it, sans some of the extras.

I bet Fishy was thinking of a 6213 carb which is a spreadbore carb. Dyslexics UNTIE... uniet, uneit, UNITE! :-D

how sure are you on that on crackedback?

I bet he's right. I have a Holley off a 71 440 in the rafters. I'll pull it down tomorrow and see what it has stamped on it and measure the plates. FYI: It's rated at 585 cfm but if you set it side by side of a standard 1850 600 Holley their identical except the Mopar one has a different type of bowl vent.
