[Found!] Holly Street dominator intake

Run a 340/360 intake. If it has an egr valve, don’t run a vacuum line to it. This way it stays closed. If it is an egr intake, the plenum floor jets might be removable and should be plugged if possible.

The Weiand Action Plus, or the Edelbrock Performer, both an intake worth looking at.

Inexpensive intake (With possibly cheap mods.)
It’ll out torque the Holley and have a worthy & broader power curve.
 
I think the Performer is an ugly intake man self.
IMO, the best bet is a OE intake. Heavy? Yes.
Work great? Oh yea!
 
I bought a 68 340 intake for one of my cars for $90 at Fall Fling.

It’s not horrible, that’s for sure. The center wall divider is a bummer to deal with as it is not really helping the fuel out much. There are much worse thing to contend with, namely hood clearance.

If you can find one around that $100 mark, that would be great. Shipping one across the he country could be a bit pricey so, decide if that cost is OK with you.
 
I have a Holley Street Dominator from my 67 273. I'll take pictures later. Be aware that they moved the carb back on the intake. Not sure how it all lined up. Never ran it as the engine has taken a right turn, it is now slated for a Desoto Hemi.
 
I might have one, not sure, took it to the sandblasters about a week ago.
I cannot remember if it was a street dominator or a strip dominator.
Its getting blasted to remove the paint somebody put on it.
