Looking for hood hinges for a 68 Dart. Old ones had the coil spring in them.
Got em X2
$70 shipped like new No paint just self etch primer. Ready to scuff and paint. Remember do not use The factory hold downs clips. Drill holes and use washers and cotter pins to keep them tight on the pins. This stops the hinges from rubbing the fenders. Just some info I thought would be helpful. Some other info is if you are using a reproduced hood or a fiberglass hood use 72 on up hinges for proper adjustment. The older hinges are not slotted. The lower hinge is 72-76. I have any year needed They are all $70 a pair shipped. anywhere in the lower 48. Shipping cost are around $30 so the hinges are price reasonable
Light fiberglass hood, use lighter duty FWD Aries K car hood springs. Work great, no prop rod
Never thought of using them. Learned something today Thanks Steve
I got 2 sets of em when i was able to get em years ago at my local boneyard, saving em for if i go fiberglass hood on either car.
I will take a set please.
Got a link to those springs?
Nope, junkyard man. just pull a set from a plymouth reliant or dodge aries k car or variant of.
Appreciate info. Thanks!
The sets I have left are $90 plus ride . Shipping has gone through the roof if it doesn't fit in a flat rate box. And the hinges don't fit. I just shipped a set I ended up with $15 each. I am taking $110 shipped unless you think it would be cheaper for actual shipping its your call. Once my wife takes the ride for actual shipping that's what you'll pay. Buy them somewhere else and sand the rust and paint off of theirs yourself. I just saw a pair of mine at auction. I saw what they went for. Some ruin it for all. Go to Ebay their cheaper not cleaned.
