Hood pin hole size

I’ve been trying to find out what the correct diameter is for hood pin holes on a 70-72 Dart hood. Between here and a couple other forums I’ve read they are 5/8”, 3/4” and 7/8”. So which is correct?

How big are the pins might be the better question.

Whatever the size of the pin, the hole will need to be bigger than the pin due to the fact a hinged hood moves in an arc. Finish plates more than cover any discrepancy in this scenario.

1/8'' bigger than ur pin !

Isn't it the same size as the hole in the bezel?
