That's a nice two pack! Be careful because these things will suck you in.
Johnny Lightning has very nice castings (in my opinion) based on A Body Barracudas.

Yeah my kids are into Hot Wheels which has also sucked me into it (again). It can be addictive checking the racks. We stopped by the Hot Wheels rack at Walmart the other day and it was picked clean. Maybe 3 cars left when they had over 50 pegs.

I swear the store stocking people give the heads up to scalpers when they are restocking the shelves.

I’ve had better luck finding what I’m after at the grocery store (such as Safeway) which is a small rack at the end of the aisle.

Yeah you can get what you want on Amazon or eBay but paying 500%+ premium for a $1 or $2.50 item bugs me. I guess I’m not desperate enough to pay that massive premium….. yet.

That 65 IIRC is an "Autoworld" product.

I got one back when they were still $5.99.

The last one of those I saw was almost $12 I believe.

Keep searching the Hot Wheels. Among other cars, there's a Dart Swinger, Barracuda and Dodge Demon that are periodically issued.

Also, a company called Yatming made a Dart Sport (1975-76). It seems that it was last produced in the early 1980s and is incorrectly labeled as “Plymouth.”

I bought a few of them and the roughest one has been stripped down and will be made into an (as close as possible) representation of my 1973. If anyone knows of another Dart Sport casting out there, please let me know. This casting is definitely not up to modern standards but it has opening doors!
