I am looking at the Hotchkjs rear springs for my 71 Duster build and wanted to know if any one has used them and their opinions of them. Was wondering how far they lower the rear, and can you get the stance of the car level with a torsion bar adjustment? I don't want a tail dragger, Thanks for any thoughts or opinions sabre67
I bought the springs and installed them on my 67 barracuda. It lowered it significantly even with the front hangers in the high ride position (upside down if i recall). It looked great (not a tail dragger) but my wheels rubbed on the inner wheelwells. My rims are the wrong offset so that was why. I ended up going with different springs but as soon as i have new rims i'll install them again. I did drive with it a little and it handled nice. Hope that helps.
