Is this crack fixable? Its in a water passage. Can I use a gas tank or radiator repair epoxy, or do I have to have it welded? Is it even worth fixing? I have about $90 invested in this manifold. Its a Edelbrock Performer.
This car project is killing me! Its one thing after another. I just installed a used motor in my car after finding out I had a bad piston. When I installed the motor, it seemed to run well but I noticed I had a water leak from the front intake manifold bolt. I decided to re-install the manifold and when I was cleaning the old gasket material off it, I noticed the crack. I bought this manifold from Pick N pull and then I had it bead blasted. Could I have cracked it when I installed it? The ironic thing about all of this is, I just sold a 340 manifold on Friday.
Thanks,
Kris
