I saw a list, years ago, wrote down the number, but can't remember where! There used to be a lot of Dart convertibles, in southern Ontario, years ago. Besides mine, I still see them occasionally.

I moved from So Cal to Northern Colorado. I never expected to see another dart convertible. BUT I know of 8 in my area. 6 - 67s and 2 68s or 69s

According to G.G. there were 3729 Dart convertibles in 1967, 4228 Barracudas, 2267 Dart GT's in 1968, 450 GTS's, and 2840 Barracudas that year. I don't have the '69 figures.

Still, that's only about 16,000 A body Convertibles, maybe half still in existence - 8,000 of those in existence half on the road - 4,000 over 3 years and 2 car lines, we are a rare breed! (Ii think I'm being generous in the half exist / on the road assumption)

So my 66 is no were near as rare as 67 to 69 together
Back in 83 when I bought my 69 gt ht
In the days before internet i remember seeing a listing for a 69 383 convert
Thought to my self they never put 383s in darts ....then was looking in the owners manual and saw 383 listed thinking boy did i miss out

don't beat yourself up.

in the 80s I could have bought an Edsel in great condition for $800.00 and passed ONLY because I did not have enough credit on my credit card for a cash advance.
