Going through the shop I found this box of pistons on our 318/360 parts shelf the piston box they are in says something Chevrolet, but I know we don’t have any Chevrolet parts. So how can I identify these pistons?

Cast pistons often though not always have numbers cast into them inside, they also often have logos of the manufacture cast into them, look for them

I see in the one pic that there is an "F" cast into the piston above the pin........maybe Federal-Mogul ?

they look like cheap Badger pistons used to be about 89$ a set that's what we used in the claimer motors in dirt track racing. with the short skirt my guess is 360
