Made me laugh. Obviously the writer has there head in sand. I think you could probably buy nearly every piece of the muscle car era cars except the really rare parts. Like stage 4 heads and even then with the right amount of cash.

It’s a E body. Somebody will give that kind of money for it. Not I, but somebody.

That’s funny. I didn’t even look at the tag. Thanks. I was looking at the engine compartment the door sills the tops of the doors. Etc

            Agreed.
The one thing that stops this car from being a decent project is the lack of the dash pad where the V.I.N. would be riveted to.

Not 100% sure but isn’t the vin riveted to the steel part that’s welded into the car

Really not that difficult to repair, first thing should be a good frame shop and a lot of the secondary damage will come out once it's pulled straight and square. Appears to be a pretty well optioned car too. I see more still there than missing, drop in a big block, bolt on some sheet metal and some seats and have a fun ride.

No. On an E-body the VIN is riveted to the dash pad, which can be unbolted from the dash.

Well doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of a serial number

Ask Chrysler. They did it for a loooong time. I don't think the E-bodies were the only ones.

Just went and checked the dart it’s riveted to the steel part of dash. Still easy to swap out. So when does a clone stop being a clone
