Just came across this picture on ABC news. Wonder if it’s a real one.

Looks like it was a nice one. Hopefully the owners survived to rebuild.

That wing did everything it could but it just didn't have enough downforce. It even crushed the fender, a fighter to the last.

The wind must have snuck up from behind, and got the jump on it.

Gonna hafta rename this hurricane Wile E.

Its probably insured for more than its worth. One less superbird in the world, what a shame. I would have been behind the wheel driving towards the mountains. Its not like they didnt have enough notice.

AMD will have that sumbish good as new in about 30 seconds.

A friend of mine’s Dad and family live in FL and had 6’ of water in their house and shop. His collector cars are a total loss as they were completely submerged. They slept last night in their attic. Scary situation

There will be more damage once they attempt to flip it back onto its wheels

The two cars were on lifts in the garage, blown out of the garage buy wind/storm surge.

There were two other wing cars under them that were moved.

All that money and not enough sense to store em somewhere better. That sucks.
Hopefully they have enough money to save em

With some Zaino and a little bit of elbow grease, it will buff right out.

Not that it matters much, but I don't think the Daytona was on the lift. In the picture of all 4 cars, the Daytona in the air has a dark wing. But I wasn't there and hope all of Florida can recover!

Perhaps they took the best 2 and left the other two behind on the lift?
