The icon Premium forged pistons going in my 390 stroker motor... sizing chart chart shows street applications 0.0035”to 0.0045” and drag racing gasoline application of 0.0050” to 0.0070”. Plan on doing plenty of spirited driving and some drag racing. Do I want to go to the looser end of the street recommendation 0.0045” or the tighter side of drag racing 0.0050”? What have others used in their stroker builds with forged pistons?
