8-3/4 sure grip ,, cone style used from 1969 up ,, no new parts available for this unit but if internal gears and cones are i usable shape it can be rebuilt .

There is a write up somewhere on this site on how to rebuild one of these. It's not for the average person because you will need a lathe and some custom parts. It should be easy enough for a machine shop to do.

What is the diameter where the ring gears bolts? 8 3/4, 9 1/4, and 8 1/4 all used that cone style carrier.

Got to be an 8 3/4. I see the thrust spacer between the spider gears.

Just an FYI, Rebuilds on "cone type" are not factory info but individual modifications.
