I'm having a 360 Magnum short block built and the stock stamped steel rocker arms are an adequate design for my cam (220-225 dur @ .050 lift 1200 RPM-5700 RPM range.) HOWEVER, the units from my core engine have over 300,000 miles on them. As of this post I have not visually inspected them but in the event, some are worn I have a question. Are the Melling replacements that are available a worthy replacement? I am willing to buy the Hughes or Harland Sharpe adj roller rockers, but I want to explore the available stamped steel supposed OEM equivalents. This is a Magnum short block and factory Magnum heads.

i know there's some of these out there running around with half a million miles on them... but i do understand the desire to replace or upgrade given the in service mileage and a fresh build.

if the cam/build will tolerate stock rockers i'd trust engine tech or melling to get the job done. that being said i had harland sharpe units on my 318/mag head builds and they were nnnniiiiicccceee.
