Hello bought above unit which excepts smallblock Chevy water pumps . Please explain the benefits of running this and will motorplate still be able to be use ,

The water can flow through the motorplate just like normal. You will need longer bolts. I have no clue of the advantage but my B1 head motor has lines tapped into both sides of the pump to feed the heads besides the block. My setup has AN-16 lines from the plate to the radiator. Kinda a specialized deal IMO only needed for special setups.

cools the head first, then in to the block and then on to the radiator. cool heads make more h.p.

I have always wanted to buy one and try it
in a back to back test on the same motor
to see if there is truly and differance
Please report how it works for you
If you dont use it , l might buy it from and try it
