Inner Diameter of water pump hose to head /6

Hello

What is the inner diameter of the little 2-3'' hose going from the water pump to the head on a 225 slant six? Mine ballooned out and is leaking everywhere. Since I can't work on my car at my apartment and I have only one vehicle, it would be helpful to know the size without having to remove it from the car first. I tried looking all over the forum and service manual but I couldn't find the size.

I believe that is a 5/8 " hose. same as heater hose. If you can find siliconized hose it would last longer than the car. LOL

It's just a 5/8" I.D. heater hose. You can buy a foot at any parts store. Just cut it to the correct length. 170 C.I is shorter than the 198 and 225. A couple hose clamps and you're done.
