As usual I didn't give it to much prior thought, so it is what it is. The floor pan and inner fenders are out of the car. I've heard now, not to remove them at the same time. Which should I re-install first? Does it matter?

I dont see it being a problem. Just dont go jacking the car up or anything like that. I like to block the frame up level prior to removing sheetmetal. If you did not support the frame you may want to place a jack right around where the K frame bolts up and bring it up so it just touches the frame. Do the same around the area right behind the front floor pan.

Some if not all Service manuals have body dimensions. Block the body to meet those measurements perhaps with a slight adjustment for sag after welding????

Yeah I was thinting limited jacking at this point. The good news is all the frame rails and rockers are solid. Door gaps are OK, too.

Good advice. I've seen those measurements. I'll look them over and do a check before installation.
