Is it wise or unwise to install the heads with the rockers installed. One part of me does not want to remove them and the other says you have it almost all apart anyway and have to redo the valve Lash anyway.

Remove the rocker arms. You would have to readjust your valve lash anyway if you're running a mechanical cam. That's if you don't want to screw something up. How do you know your head gaskets were the same thickness exactly as when you adjusted the valves
