we had a day like that in MI on monday
it snowed about a half an inch overnite, and into the morning...then by the afternoon, the kids were outside playing
(sure, they were freezing, but i wanted them out of the house)

31* when it was snowing, 49* in the afternoon. Normally when the forecast says Spokane might get snow that means we don't see a flake. I had not even noticed it was snowing until one of the pups came in and was covered with it.
That is an amazing weather swing - also nicely captured with pictures
Sounds like North Dakota weather could be 30 below in the morning then 30 above in the afternoon. 60* difference in temp in no time.
