          R - The Windsor plant was in Ontario, Canada.

          Not far from the Hamtramck plant in Michigan.

            Interesting historical note;

            If any gears in the car are missing teeth, they may have been playing hockey together........

              A Canadian agrees the car will not have a metric fastener. And as a Canadian the hockey reference is hilarious. Thank you

                AND NOW another annoying story from the old days. "Metrics" were beginning in the ?? mid 70's ?? --?? early 80's ?? with various body fasteners, etc

                A friend of mine worked at a very small local Chrysler dealer. He and I both worked part of saturdays at our differing jobs. One sat after work I went down to his place of work, where he was finishing up updating some catalogs and bulletins. (I wish I had saved this.......)

                So the Chrysler service bulletin, dated, numbered, etc, enumerated the effected models, etc, and then announced that these models, the NUT RETAINING THE STEERING WHEEL was metric. In other words, "the nut behind the wheel"

                  I just hate cars that are 1/2 metric and 1/2 imperial.

                    I just replaced the clockspring on my 2006 grand caravan, to do it you have to remove the steering wheel. Got out my puller and some 10mm bolts, they would not screw in, I drove over to the parts store and tried an 8, too small WTH! Just for grins I grabbed a 3/8 bolt, perfect.

                    So to remove the steering wheel you need a metric wrench tho remove the nut ( not me) and standard bolts to use the removal tool.

                    Aaaaarrrrrggg!

                      For you that’s imported beer. My preference used to be labatts lite.

                        I drank a lot of that when we vacationed to Canada fishing. Lake of the woods, Nestor Falls area. Always a great time. Beautiful country!
