My "local" dragway (Cordova Dragway) was sold to IRG Sports and Entertainment. They are already planning big events for 2022. I guess this is much better than having "another" dragway closed. Even though I'm not a bracket racer... just a test and tuner, I always hold my breath on new owners. I guess nothing else to do but wait and see.

Been there, tried that. They wouldn't let me.
It'd be fun to try with a consistent car, so you could see what it would do to a timeslip.

Seriously tho, when the new Irwindale opened up (longer ago than I want to think) everybody I knew, and I mean EVERYBODY, had personal best 60ft, e.t. ,and not mph. The rumor was that it was a "few" feet short.
