Is it worth $2300?

It's an original slant six 72 Duster with no rust but needs a little body work here and there, nothing major. Comes with a running 340 and 904 auto that aren't installed. There's an 8 3/4 rear end (don't know the ratio), front disc brakes and a v8 k member. Interior looks like B7 blue but it has a black dash pad and one black door panel. Split bench seat with nothing really special about the interior. Will need carpet and probably some upholstery work. Glass and everything looks good as well as the grille.

So with all that said, do you guys think this car is worth $2300 because of the 340?
 
It's only worth what you are willing to pay for it. If you really want the car and have plans for it and it is in good shape then it is worth it.

If it's not a rust bucket and c/w running 340 & 904, it's like winning the lottery twice in my opinion.

Well.....you're the one who needs to decide if it's worth it to YOU. Is it what you want? Are you settling because you found it? A word to the wise....the 340 AIN'T runnin if it ain't in the car. It sounds like it's worth it without the 340 being considered. Without pics, it's a tough call.
 
Depends on the body really. What body work does it need. 8 3/4 I'd good and the 340 is really just a core until you open it up. From your description it sound like a decent price but would really like to see pics of it.
