so i went for a drive this eve, the 440 ran great for about 40min.. temp was at 195... as long as i was moving along it ran great, but when i came to a stop it would buck and spark knock and die with a big puff through the carbs. as it was acting up i put it in park and tried to give it gas...it would not rev up... i shut if off and it wanted to keep running a bit...i let it cool. it fired right up..and ran great for about the same time then did the same thing. iam running duel points dis, and a new mech fuel pump...and iam using reg gas...not a high octane.....thoughts
