Sold her but just saw this picture on Myspace (haven't logged in there for years)

Little run down of what she had

1970 383 4 speed Vitamin C originally
Barton built 440 with B1 BS heads .750 solid roller 14.5:1 compression. 727 with a brake 8.75 rear with 4:30 gears.
Ladder bars and 4 wheel drum brakes. Dyno'd at 925 at the tires with 750 ft lbs. She was ugly But ran a 9.25@138mph

Why did you get rid of that? That thing looks great!
After 3 years you still remembered your log in info, thats pretty impressive.

I had a driveshaft let go on the dyno that split the floor open like a tuna can. Bent the Ladder bars, crushed my elbow, shattered my trans and basically totaled the car. Almost cost my buddy his leg too. I sold the motor for what I bought the car for and sold the body for 4 grand.

daaammmmmmmmmnnnnnn, Glad to see you up and running and not pushing up flowers. I know is probably wrong of me but I got to ask, you got any pictures of the car after it happened?

Something about having a u-joint snap on the decel from a motor that spins to 9000 rpm throws parts around like nothing else.

Yeah no Sh*t! So its safe to assume that the Scamp your working on has the trans tunnel reinfored?

Ah, so which manual you got in it a 4, 5, or 6 speed?
