Kb 190's and 596 heads

Alright guys quick question... I just ordered some KB 190 pistons (slight dome w/ two reliefs) for my 360. I want to increase the C.R. to about 10:1. These pistons are rated at 10.5:1 with 72cc heads. I am also getting some 596 heads which are advertised right around that 72cc. My question is does anyone know if these heads are really 72cc or are they smaller? I don't want my compression TOO high so should I not worry about 0 decking my block and all that? Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

The head should cc in at 72, but that is not a lock ethier. IMO, I myself would have ordered the flat top zero deck piston and milled the head. Though the block would be a better thing to mill.

Have the machinest do up the block first and then go from there with knowleadge.
