Kevco M306 Oil Pan

Has anybody used the Kevco M306 stock appearing race pan on their street cars? I was looking at this pan for my 360 build because it says it has a trap door and an oil scraper built-in, even though I don’t see it in the pictures. The idea of using a stock appearing oil pan that maximizes my oil control is appealing to me for my build. Looking for some real world experience with this pan and how it performs. Thank you in advance.
 
I have one that I haven’t installed yet. I will tell you it’s a nice thick heavy gauge pan. Has trap doors in front of the pan. I still want to run my windage tray. The scraper is just an angle piece of metal the length of the pan on the right side.
 
I've used Kevko on 2 builds and they are nice pieces. They fit and they seal well.

I have run them for several years on our Stock
Eliminator small blocks. They do a good job and
do make a small but discernable difference in HP.

They also really help oil pressure dropping on the
hard braking at high speed we do on the track.

NHRA finally accepted them for stock this season,
but I have run them for several years before that and
nobody noticed!
 
I run one, the only issue I had was the drain is outside the gated sump area. So unless you wait a long time draining the oil, it can trap a bunch in the sump. I put a drain plug in the sump.
 
Thank you all for the replies! I think I’m going to go with the M306 and get a factory 360 windage tray to run along with it.
 
The only thing I can say bad about Kevco is they put it in a box with no packing and mine came with a slight dent on the bottom. They way things are thrown around by the delivery guys they could have added a piece of foam to protect the bottom. For the price we pay for it, a little packing would go a long way and I wouldn't be posting anything negative.
 
Absolutely true!!

I have had one delivered with zero padding that the pan rails
were absolute destroyed. I returned it and they replaced it.
I talked to them and they absolutely did not care about it.
It must be cheap for them to build them if they will not spend
the money on packing.

I wonder if they would let me pay an extra $10 to pack it correctly, lol.
 
I have to tell you I sent an email to them 8-9 years ago about the placement of the drain plug. A simple fix that would cost nothing. I got zero response, not a email back saying “thanks!” or even “screw you” nothing. I guess they think you should have to wait overnight to drain all the oil out of the pan….if ever.
 
The problem is the box they use has no room for packing. If they pay $1.00 for a box there not going to spend $2.00 for a bigger box and some packing.
