kickdown linkage

Can anyone tell me the proper way to adjust the kickdown linkage on a 65 dart with a 273.

........Its all in the fsm............have a buddy hold the gas pedal to the floor,engine off ofcourse, check to make sure the carb goes to wot.....adj kd till u have approx 1/8 in play, test drive, u may need to tweek it either way........happy motoring.....kim......

Yup second for me, thats the way I do it, on my 64 it has a threaded pushrod. My 65 has the slider on the carb, I think its a little harder to tweak but just the same, WOT -1/8 or so....
