offered to drive the wife down south (Homer Glen) for cat food and groceries. While she was looking at cat food at the grocery store, I wandered off to look at Hot Wheels and such. Meet a young couple where the wife was looking thru the individual cars wondering if there were any treasure hunt cars. I wonder who collects 'em in that family? The Nova gasser wagon grabbed my eye and so did the "Nitro DoorSlammer". The color really pops with the orange lettering. The Volvo gasser is neat also.

I suspect that couple has a side hustle reselling treasure hunt cars at a considerable profit. Or they might actually be collectors. However, given their age and lots of ‘free time’ they have, they are likely one of many that comb thru the racks at stores to snag treasure hunt and super treasure hunt cars.
