What is the ideal location for the spring clamps, I looked at the SS ones and they have three on the one and two on the other. Going to put new ones on them. I will be taking it to the track, just did a spring relocation. They are 6 leaf springs .

The old drag racing trick used to be clamp the front segments and not the backs to stiffen the front of the spring and let the car rise. The SS springs are biased to do the same thing.

specifically each front segment so you will have multiple clamps.

One thing you'll find if the forwardmost clamps will not work if you use RMS boxes in the upper rear hole position. They will hit the box.
 
Yep clamp the front segments,then adjust your snubber 1/4-1/2 inch from the floor.When I first did my 66 Dart,I welded extra 1/4 inch plate in this area for strength.
