I am sure this has been asked before but before I go twisting lug apart does a 1969 Barracuda have both left and right lug nuts?

should is still OEM have left on left, right on right. Easy way to tell, take a single right off the right and try to start it on the left at both front and rear. and since replacement left hand studs are so hard to find, I think if I had just acquired this vehicle/ totally clueless, I would try a right hand nut on every left side stud.

The left hand thread studs have an L stamped in the end of them.

I had the same problem but replaced all the left studs with right studs, that way there is no confusion.

Just out of curiousity. When did Chrysler cease using left hand thread studs?

Personally I don't understand how someone can look at the threads and not be able to tell, so...

The real question is why they did it in the first place.

they thought there would be a less chance of them coming loose by way of rotation.
