Bought new door panels & on the 1st one I worked on , I cut out the piece where the clip goes & when installed they push out the side panel material. After spending that money n seeing how shifty they look I wanna cry. What can I do different on the rest of them ???? Thank you
 
You need to use the flat metal clips style not the wire style.

Use velcro. Screw those clips, we did same thing. For the $$ they charge, put the damned slots in them!
Used velcro on our console carpet as well.
Can't even tell.
 

I just installed door panels on my Duster and I agree on the flat style clips. One note, you may need to squeeze them a little with pliers or they will be difficult to press into the holes in the door.
