Let's hear some numbers on those 408s

-
Search mine at "W2 408 build" in FABO, all details there. Sorry, I tried to link it over but had no success.
I'm gonna be running pretty close to your set up. Hughes cam about identical numbers just hydraulic not roller. Same headers. 11-1comp. Aluminum Indy w2 heads 2-10 intake 1-65 exh. Indy 360-1 single plane intake. The tall one. 850quick fuel. But sounds like I might be better going with a 950 carb. I have seen one other post where they lost almost 30hp going to an 850 from a 950. Also 3100 ft elevation

Our 410 is 69 dart is running pretty good....so far has gone a best of 10.43 @ 128.....car weights in at 2900 lbs...lite driver....

Couple of things...engine is fairly new....
Vegas DA was 3300 ..Torque Converter is a 35 year old Turbo Action converter....going to replaced this winter...
Going to Bakersfield in Nov...should run a good .25 faster then as set up now...

There is 10 pages on this 410 Dart located here.....as you will seen this thing broke last fall....71 Dart 410 stroker ..

and then..and then...71 Duster waiting for 408 to be installed before Sept....have new Dana S60 waiting in garage for it also...Engine is pretty close to the other one...Probably will get a new converter to go with that set up...Has the same internal parts...cam is the same except it is the older Hughes cut on a 106 CL instead of the new 108 CL...heads were hand ported by SDSS 2.02/1.60 heads. Victor 340 intake...950 QFT E85 carb......car in race weight is about 100 lbs heavier....

Need to get that 75 Duster out of the garage....get close to firing it ...can finish the small crap later...

Excellent street mannered 410 in an A100 @ 3580lbs. (w/driver) 1/8 mile 7.85et@87.1mph and 1.68 60' Waiting for humidity and high temps to subside to do more runs after having done more tuning and adding a cold air setup. Shooting for 7.75+/- @90mph+/- in the 1/8.
