    Well Johnny Mac, I've always loved mopars but never owned one till the last couple years. Here's what I've learned... although mopars are big money, the average Mopar guy is penny wise/dollar stupid. They'll spend $500 on a broken windshield washer pump, but will cry about $500 for functional brakes. They'll spend $10-15k on a stroker engine built in a paper machete block, and bitch when it blows up. Good luck.

      How about a programmable ignition box (ign. curve based on RPM+vacuum input) akin to the CB Performance 'BlackBox', but kept "up to date" with occassional software updates and (either paid or not) enhancements.
      Use a built-in Wifi or Bluetooth-connection to (also) be able to make on the fly changes in the curve with an app on the 2 most popular smartphone OS'ses; Android and iOS.

      I'm @ work with no time to go through 5 pages right now, so, Roller LA blocks, or Forged stroker Magnum shortblock, drilled for LA heads.
      I agree with some Gen III stuff, though I'm not there yet.

        Honestly, look into investing in gen III hemi parts.
        It is where the plentiful cores will be.
        Make hooking up carbs and ignition systems easy in older cars, I think you would hit a home run.

          Along with stand alone controllers for the modern automatic transmissions. Or, a controller that does both engine management and the auto trans.

                How about a five or six quart oil pan with Magnum small block pan rail for one piece Magnum gasket that fits the car chassis. And put a baffle in it.
                I am currently cutting up cheap LA pans and truck Magnum pans to make what I need. Fun work, but who has the time?

                If there isn't one, cheap, a serpentine belt setup with a lower mount alternator boss.
                4 duce intake for carter carbs.
                Dual 2 barrel intake for slants.
                Timing cover with access plate on top, adjustable cam gear setup.

                Cross ram intake

                  "Cheap" and serpentine is kinda relative lol. I do know these are "cheap-er" than many others. alternator isn't much lower than OE however. only Low ones i have seen use the denso type. I made my own with inverted mounting for a squareback, but its a V...and only an alternator.

                      Did Blueprint quit selling the 408 shortblocks?
                      I don’t see it listed on their website.

                      This thread isn't that old, so most of these aren't something that can be whipped out overnight.
                      for the sake of transparency, and realism, the most "on the table" things would be things we can sell hundreds of a year, not 2 of a year. So SB, magnum, gen III hemi, maybe another BB some day.......thats what we would have the ability to explore. A triple stromberg setup for a slant six....despite RRR's tries ;)... we can't tool up for parts for engines we don't even produce, and that people give away for free. Not meant to be harsh to any Poly, Slant, 3.9V6 guys...but we have to go where the volume is. The Roller cam 408 is the newest R&D accomplishment since we started this list. That should surface very shortly.

                        LA cores are gone unfortunately. I know summit/jegs still had a few as of yesterday. We will i'm sure come out with a magnum short block, once the full dress version is 100% done. we've talked about an HO version also.

                          A lil off-topic but here's what I really want;
                          About a 2 ft length of bolt-on-to-the-collector, automatic in-line BOV, that never sticks closed nor open, nor leaks spit, nor takes 1 second to open/ another to close, and no electric motor! I need it with a capacity of at least 200hp each. Ideally I would like it with a radial bypass dumping into the atmosphere, and a continuous controlled leak out the back, suitable to plumb to a smaller pipe to cruise with. But if not a radial exhaust, then a small nipple on the engine side that I can plumb to.
                          Now,when I'm cruising at 30mph, and I nail the gas-pedal; I want those BOVs to whack open instantly, automatically. I'm gonna hold the throttle open for about 1 or 2 seconds, cuz that's all it takes to be speeding ,and the instant I let off, I want those BOVs to slam shut again, automatically;
                          with perhaps a little tune-ability in the timing .You'll be the only game in town so you can charge whatever you think is right.
                          And I want the whole system of BOVs and my cruise bypass system, to weigh waaay less than the 80pounds, of the current dual 3" system with Dynomaxers. So you've got about 20/25 pounds a pair
                          I do not care to open them manually at any other time.
                          You know what Ima thinking right. Ima gonna wake up a few daydreamers!
                          I can't be the only guy who wants something like this.
