Linkage help

Hi guys, Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I am using the original intake manifold on a 65 273 commando but will be using Edelbrock carburetor. Will I need the 1481 kit to hook it all up.. thanks in advance, Frank

For the kickdown to have the proper ratio, maybe full throttle ability as well.
Imo Yes you need it.

I just finally got mine set up after a Magnum swap so I have full throttle and the correct throttle pressure (kickdown) adjustment for perfect shifts.

I used the top hole for the throttle cable and added a ball end stud in the bottom hole for the kickdown linkage.

Got a part # for the ball stud?

Edelbrock 8016 should be the one. I had one in my toolbox.
